The Party Wall Helpline

A new service by surveyors, Collier Stevens now enables you to get your Party Wall Notices prepared and served free of charge, the only charges are those levied by the Land Registry for searches to confirm adjoining owners but you can save these by doing the search yourself  – LAND REGISTRY.

The RICS [Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors] Guide to Party Wall Matters is now available to download from the page.

A complete set of free and updated party wall notice templates in Word format are now available to download from the Resources section.  Registration is required for this part of the site.

A neat little new piece on the BBC a week or two back about the problems of building basements under existing houses and the protection offered [or not offered!] by the Party Wall Act.
